Google Analytics and Search Console integration

The GA4 integration and the Google Search Console integration use the same Google sign-in with separate, read-only permissions. Google Analytics shows the visits AI assistants sent you; Search Console shows how you perform in Google Search itself. Side by side with AI visibility, they answer the question every report gets asked: did being named in AI answers bring anyone to the site?

What no analytics integration can show

Step 2: Pick the property. Choose the GA4 property for the brand, and change it later if needed. Agencies connect each client's property to that client's brand.
Step 3: Read AI referrals. Sessions from AI assistants are classified by source hostname, with the first day each one sent traffic.
Step 4: Revoke any time. Access can be withdrawn from your Google account's third-party connections page, which stops every read at once.

Publishing integrations

The CMS integrations send finished drafts from a content brief to WordPress, Ghost, Strapi, Contentful, Sanity, Webflow or Storyblok. Each connection is tested with a real write that is deleted straight away, and nothing is ever published live. What each CMS needs is on the CMS publishing page.

For developers

The REST API is read-only and versioned, with a rate limit per organisation. Agencies use it to feed their own dashboards; in-house teams use it to pull AI visibility into a data warehouse next to everything else.

What does the Google Analytics integration access?

Read-only access to the GA4 property you choose, through Google's analytics.readonly scope. CoreCited reads sessions by source to classify AI referrals and cannot change your analytics settings or data.

What does the Google Search Console integration access?

Read-only access through Google's webmasters.readonly scope, for clicks, impressions, CTR, position, queries and pages. Search Console data arrives with a delay of a few days, so the most recent days are left out rather than shown as a drop.

Do I need Cloudflare?

Only for AI crawler analytics, which reads crawler requests from Cloudflare's analytics. It works on every Cloudflare plan, including free. Everything else works without it.

Can CoreCited publish to my website?

It creates drafts in WordPress, Ghost, Strapi, Contentful, Sanity, Webflow or Storyblok, or sends the article to a custom endpoint. It never publishes live; someone on your team reviews the draft and presses publish.

Is there a Zapier integration?

Not a native one. The alert webhook can send real-signal alerts to a Zapier or Make webhook, and the REST API lets any tool read your data.
